Every size and colour has its own page and its own price. How prices work

About Halife

A womenswear label from Charleston, cut for heat, sized from XS to 5XL, and printed with the three facts that decide a top.

Where the brand started

Halife began in 2016 with a single 3/4 sleeve top and a complaint. The complaint was that a sleeve either ended at the shoulder, where it did nothing, or at the wrist, where it fought every jacket in the closet. The top the studio cut ended in between, at the point where a bracelet sits, and it is still the piece the benches are built around.

Everything since has been an answer to the same climate. Charleston summer starts in April and gives up somewhere in October, which is long enough to learn what fails: a waistband that needs adjusting after lunch, a woven that creases in a suitcase, a white knit that turns out to be sheer at noon. The Halife lineup is what survived that.

How a piece gets on a bench

Someone in the studio wears it for a week, washes it twice, and then everyone argues. The arguments are always about the same three things: where the sleeve ends, how the neckline sits when you lean forward, and whether the hem clears a chair. Colour comes last and never decides anything.

What survives joins the Halife range with those facts printed on the card. That is the part we care about most, and it is the part most clothing sites skip: sleeve, neckline and length, in words, before you click.

What this catalogue adds

  • A page per size and colour, each with its own price and its own size ladder linking the rest.
  • Six benches with filters for colour, size, sleeve, length and features such as pockets or smocking.
  • Three long guides on the questions the studio inbox actually receives: sizing between two numbers, sun and cover-ups, and keeping summer clothes past one season.
  • 1141 colours across 405 pieces, with the colour row on a page showing every one that carries a price today.

What we leave alone

Fibre percentages, care instructions and measurements come from the label sewn into the garment, and each page carries the ones its own label states. A rating on a page belongs to that page and is never added to another.

Where to find us

The studio is at 168 Meeting St, Suite 4, Charleston, SC 29401. Write to crew@myhalife.com about a size row that reads wrong, a colour that has gone missing, or a fact on a page that does not match the label.
